Tool Joints
HACKER DRILL PIPE TOOL JOINTS are manufactured from 2-3/8" thru 7" from 4142/4145 heat-treated alloy steel. These are available in three types, threaded screw-on type, counter-bore weld type, and flash or inertia weld type.
Hacker Tool Joints are micro control cut on special computerized machines, programmed for 13 to 24 operations, and have an accuracy of .0015". Each thread gets a dual control cut. A rough cut first, then a mirror finish micro-control cut, all under a flood of coolant to eliminate any possibility of distortion.
